PLOT:

Theresa Mitchell is your average eighth grade girl. Until one day when she and her friends are attacked by a strange woman who speaks Japanese. Theresa then finds herself transported to ancient Japan, where she is saved by a beautiful young man. She soon finds herself in the roll of the Priestess of Amaterasu, and along side the Homunculus Yoshinori, the warrior in training Takumi, and the assassin Akashiro, she must find the other Priestess and two other priests, and save the world, past and present, from the greatest danger ever...

THAT'S ENOUGH FAQ!!!!!! NOW I SHALL EXPLAIN WHY IT IS SUCH A KICK-ASS STORY, SHANAROOOO!!!

In most Shojo stories, the main couple falls in love in the first volume, and then throughout the rest of the story, it's stupid, cheesy love, like, "We'll be together forever, right?" "Of course, you fool!"-Fushigi Yugi. SO CORNY!!!!!
Well in OTAS, the main love interest isn't human. He doesn't understand human emotions, so even when he is in love, he doesn't know how to say it.
Not to mention, our main heroin doesn't believe in true love. Even when they are together, they're not all over each other, obsessed with one another like others.
They can keep their limits, but would still give up their lives for one another.

The story is half seen through our female heroes eyes, and half through our male heroes eyes.
When it's through our male heroes eyes, we can see what flaws and complications humans have. He wonders if there is any salvation left for the human race. They are the ones that sully the world. They are the ones that destroy the beautiful nature.
He doesn't believe in such a thing as a true hearted, loving human. Someone who doesn't focus on material needs, or someone who thinks of others instead of themselves. Is there any hope for the human race? Or are they all just pathetic, like he thinks?

(Opening lines in Volume one)

Yoshinori:"Is there such a thing as a valorous human? In my mind, such a thing does not exist. Humans are selfish, shallow minded creatures...They believe what they think is true...They have no idea that not everyone is like them. They judge those who are different then them...If you...have ever met a valorous, open minded human...I'd love to meet them."

Volume one is done. We are trying to put into book form, and soon it will hit the shelves! (Hopefully!!!)
